Position Description
Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred)
* Experience in teaching students and residents in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
* Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher
* Board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics
Required Qualifications
* M.D. or D.O. degree, or equivalent medical degree
* Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program
* Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
* Texas medical license, or eligibility for licensure in Texas
