The Company is seeking a National Sales Director for Fats and Oils. This remote position is pivotal in overseeing the sales team and managing key national accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and utilizing solution-based selling techniques to foster new business. A critical aspect of the role is to maintain and expand client relationships, monitor market trends, and have a cutting-edge technical understanding of specialty oils.Applicants for the National Sales Director position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in the food industry, specifically in sales management and selling fats and oils to food manufacturers. The role demands a candidate with an extensive network of customer contacts within food manufacturing, a good technical understanding of fats and oils in food production, and excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with the sales team and customers, as well as stay abreast of market trends and develop sales forecasts. The position also requires the ability to attend relevant tradeshows and conventions to represent the company.
