We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Generalist to support our team in maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our firm by managing various human resources functions and fostering a culture of excellence and integrity.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and training coordination.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations, ensuring compliance with plan documents and legal requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to address questions and resolve issues.

Compliance and Policy Administration:

  • Maintain knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.
  • Assist with regulatory filings and reporting requirements related to employee matters.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and develop programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops on topics such as compliance, diversity, and leadership development.
  • Track employee training completion and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of SEC regulations governing investment advisors is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems; Paylocity is preferred.
