About the Role:

Ten Gun Design is looking for a Content Manager local to Washington State who will work to coordinate and facilitate digital marketing email programs for a major, industry-leading gaming brand in Redmond, WA. The Content Manager is responsible for the facilitation of projects between the client and our production team, including coordinating project deliverables, writing project briefs, creating project timelines, conducting client reviews, and producing production documents. An ideal candidate should have a project management or content production background, ideally with experience in email marketing. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work within the video game marketing industry on a multi-disciplined team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage project schedules for email marketing campaigns and programs
  • Write design briefs and work with copywriters to produce templated and bespoke creative comps
  • Create and manage production documentation, delivering on time and to spec to production partners
  • Facilitate approval process on content deliverables, including coordination with game publishers, marketing managers, and legal review
  • Assist in creating and updating process, project plans, documentation, reports, presentations, and metrics
  • Anticipate, identify, and escalate issues with projects, providing recommendations for resolution
  • Manage campaign deployment schedules, details, and updates through a variety of communications channels, trackers, and calendars
  • Attend internal and client status meetings to provide updates on critical needs, deadlines, or scope changes
  • Assist with special projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Some experience working in email marketing or other digital spaces like web marketing or ecommerce
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, audience segmentation and customer persona development
  • Experience performing content quality assurance, including reviewing comps against a completed build for accuracy and basic functionality
  • Knowledge of and ability to write image alt text according to digital accessibility best practices
  • Experience delivering large volume projects on time and to spec
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously amid ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal skills, and able to effectively communicate with both internal and external partners
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Abstract reasoning ability and logical, critical thinking skills
