Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and procedures, along with proficiency in QuickBooks. This individual will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing insights to management on variances and financial performance.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
- Payroll Processing: Coordinate payroll activities, including payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
