Job Title: MIP Manager, Production - Packaging

Summary
The Manager, Production is responsible and oversees and assists with day-to-day operations in the MIP
through maintaining and tracking inventory and personnel. The Production Manager ensures that the
production plan is executed in a timely manner while upholding industry and company standards. The
Production Manager is responsible for managing while adhering to company policy, OSHA and various
industry regulations.
Coordinates with production schedules and Cure/Vault regarding product inventory and availability. The
Manager journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company's software seed to sale tracking
system
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Maintain a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor
•Adhere to company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards
and professionalism
•Assist with production planning and job card creation based on Ops/GM direction
•Monitor all packaging of products and ensure timely shipping
•Responsible for holding team accountable for packaging output.
•Maintaining proper inventory levels in tracking systems- inventory counts, audits, and
adjustments
•Ensure Quality Control Associates are correctly identifying problem packages and batches.
•Responsible for personnel issues that have been elevated from Lead Manufacturing Associates
•Assemble R & D Panel Packs to be sent out
•Establishes and reinforces established Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully
comply with state medical marijuana regulations.
•Provides guidance to personnel in working in a highly regulated cGMP certified manufacturing
environment.
•Thorough understanding of cGMP regulations and the ability to execute and maintain
compliance protocols.
•Maintains packaging operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational policies
and procedures.
•Provides consistent oversight of packaging procedures, ensuring standardized requirements and
accuracy.
•Provides leadership to staff, ensuring counts are accurate and staff are performing in the most
efficient manner possible.
•Demonstrates leadership behaviors and always serve as example to others.
•Manages day to day issues as they arise, requesting assistance as needed.
•Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
•All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
•High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
•3-5 years' experience in related position with an emphasis in an operations
production/manufacturing environment.
•Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
•Ability to always interact professionally, leading by example.
•Manage a controlled workflow in a fast-paced environment.
•Passionate about the importance of medical marijuana.
•Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills
Preferred Skills & Experience
•Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous
marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO
licensed facilities
•Cannabis industry experience a plus
Other Requirements
Physical Requirements
•Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
•Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time
Work Requirements
•Must be able to work in kitchen, manufacturing, or production facilities with moderate to loud
noise level and changing working conditions.
•May require use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as needed
•Must be able to acquire MED Key badge prior to beginning employment
