Job Description: As an Event Salesperson, you will be the driving force behind securing new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for promoting our event space, identifying potential clients, and ensuring a seamless booking process. Your goal will be to maximize sales and revenue while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
• Promote the banquet hall through various marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Meet with potential clients to discuss their event needs and provide detailed information about our facilities, services, and pricing.
• Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the event space and its features.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
• Collaborate with the event planning and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system Tripleseat.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare reports on sales activity and forecasts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of event planning and coordination is a plus.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously.
• Focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Strong negotiation skills to close contracts and manage client expectations.
• Proficiency in CRM software such as Tripleseat and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
