We are hiring a Project Accountant to assist to develop processes to meet the needs of a diverse financial group. This role requires expertise in preparing project estimates within the electric and gas utility industry using software and estimating manuals to streamline the estimating process.
Travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in power delivery settings, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement processes to satisfy the financial requirements of diverse groups.
- Prepare accurate project estimates using industry-standard software and estimating manuals.
- Proficiency in PC and mainframe applications such as Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Time, and PassPort.
- Create customized reports to meet specific business needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with 5 years of experience in preparing project estimates in the electric and gas utility industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to travel as required throughout assigned territory.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
