The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and organizing documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized. The Paralegal will spend time working out of both offices. This position includes all areas of the estate law practice that do not require a law degree and often requires substantial client contact in the form of meetings, phone calls, and emails.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize legal documents and case files
• Conduct legal research and assist in case preparation
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to support legal proceedings
• Maintain communication and updates between attorneys and clients
• Assist with trial preparation and organization of exhibits
• Perform administrative tasks to support the legal team as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification
• Five years of experience in the area of probate, or accounting, or estate administration- Proficient in legal research and document management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
