Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload pallets and materials in the warehouse, using your mechanical knowledge to navigate the equipment.
- Must have certification.
- Use a pallet jack to move pallets and materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by ensuring all areas are free from debris and obstructions.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately receiving and storing products.
- Work closely with the warehouse supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Operate an order picker to retrieve and transport products to and from storage locations.
- Load and unload goods onto and from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
- Prior experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
- Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Must have ceritification.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Hi-Lo license (if applicable).
