Job Description
A Privately owned, family-oriented company seeks a Structural Engineer for a full-time permanent position in Brighton, MA.
Responsibilities of Structural Engineer include:
- Complete inspections on bridges and load ratings
- Prepare all necessary reports
- Design bridges for new construction as well as rehabilitation and replacements projects
- Develop constructions plans while coordinating with CAD designers
- Prepare cost estimates, specifications, proposals and work hour estimates
- Complete other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Structural Engineer:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in civil/structural engineering
- Licensed professional engineer preferred
- NBIS qualified Team Leader with structural design experience
- Completed one or more NHI courses; Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (130055), Bridge Inspection Refresher Training (130053), Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges (130078), Tunnel Safety Inspection (130110), Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures (130087)
- Good Communications skills
- Able to work independently or in team setting
- Superior attention to detail
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: $85,000-$113,000/year
