The Anchor Spa is Hiring a Bartender Near New Haven, CT
The Anchor Spa, a popular cocktail bar in downtown New Haven known for it's incredible cocktail program and delicious Pan-Caribbean Food menu, is looking looking for a passionate and enthusiastic bartender to join our team as we gear up for a busy Spring season!
Ideal candidates will be able to make classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations and contribute to our incredible vibe which makes us one of the most beloved bars downtown. We are also looking for people who are serious about their craft and have the motivation to continue learning and developing. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips.

Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
