The Import Coordinator is responsible for managing import shipments while maintaining excellent customer service. The goal will be to achieve on time delivery and meet customs compliance requirement by working with various partners.

Essential Functions

Manage import shipments from point of origin to destination in the most economic way:

a. Plan & coordinate the movement of shipments and release of goods.

b. Audit and review import documentation.

c. Coordinate with suppliers and IT to resolve EDI issues.

d. Coordinate and arrange shipments with suppliers, forwarders, and internal production teams.

e. Data Entry.

f. Tracking, Reviewing & Follow Ups (ETD, ETA)

g. Ensure compliance with all federal and maritime regulations.

Maintaining X-dock shipment.

Assists the day-to-day operations of the import department to ensure that customer requirements are met.

Update milestone in M3.

Select vendors, brokers, 3PL, truckers, etc. to meet TAG needs. Keep track of their performances, and work with them for continuous improvement.

Review ACH Statements & process payment to vendors/ service providers. Code invoices for payment and reporting.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience

• 3?4-year experience in logistics required.
• Efficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Knowledge of Integration Point (FTZ software), Lawson M3, Manhattan WMS preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
• Operates well under high volume, ability to balance multiple priorities with accuracy.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
