Description

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Kellyhouse sits on beautiful property that houses a babbling brook, a garden waiting to be put to good use, and is called home by twelve gentlemen of various ages. We are extremely close to a shopping area which the gentlemen love to patronize. The residents enjoy Xbox, Wii, shopping, going out to eat, and visiting various establishments of interest. A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS: 38 hours weekly - Wednesday & Thursday 2p-10p, Friday 12p-8p, Saturday 8a-10p

Starting Salary: $18.44 - $20.29 per hour with additional differentials as application

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is preferred

Acceptable NYS Driver's License
