Scheduled Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

Summary / Objective:

Advances the mission of ArcGNO by executing, supporting, and coordinating HR activities. This role will be responsible for processing bi-weekly and will maintain employee time records and HRIS system. Additionally, this role will provide administrative support to the human resources function assisting with onboarding, offboarding, personnel file maintenance and project work.

Essential Functions: The below are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Other duties as assigned.

  • Oversees all HR initiatives, and systems.
  • Builds trust-based relationships with supervisors, managers, directors and senior leadership and HR team.
  • Enters, maintains, and processes information in the payroll system; information may include employee’s hourly rates, salaries, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, and other information.
  • Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for benefits, and other deductions.
  • Processes bi-weekly payrolls.
  • Ensures compliance with all aspects of payroll including government reporting: ACA, EEO-1 and BLS reporting.
  • Assists with benefit enrollment and benefit maintenance activities, entries into carrier’s systems, compliance aspects and other tasks related to benefits administration.
  • Processes employment verifications and unemployment claims in accordance with company policy.
  • Creates and maintains employee records in HRIS as well as personnel files.
  • Updates job titles/benefits on HRIS software platform.
  • Assists with HR reporting requests.
  • Assist with processing all job requests and posting open positions internally and externally.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for vacant positions.
  • Process terms, off-boarding including initiating ESR and Personnel Action Form in the HRIS system.
  • Perform quarterly DSW registry, OIG, and MVRs on all employees as required
  • Complete employee/wage verification for past and present employees.
  • Update job descriptions as needed, using new format and logo.
  • Assist with new employee orientation and First Aid/CPR training, as needed.
  • Assists employees with troubleshooting and/or resolving employment-related issues.
  • Participates in and promotes company-wide employee engagement and retention activities.
  • Process incident/accident reports (claims, reports, drug & alcohol testing.)
  • Processes check requests for invoicing, HR and recruiting activities.
  • Applicable to all positions: Know job role of each position.
  • Attend job and college fairs and seminars
  • Maintains employee HR files; to ensure that employee records are maintained properly, in compliance with

applicable policy, CARF and state and federal regulations and complies with appliable retention schedules and consistently remain in an orderly fashion.

  • Assist with performing primary source license verification on all license employees at new hire and annually.
  • Filing of documents in employee personnel file
  • Serves as backup for employee relations (Benefits, EEOC's, Unemployment, Investigations, Grievances, etc.).
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable EEOC and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Promotes and enforces adherence with Company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Back up to the front administrative office
  • Performs other non-specified duties

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Travel

Travel to various sites and external meetings as needed/required. Must have a valid Driver’s License and Auto insurance.

Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, Certification or College Degree in Human Resources Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years HR/Payroll experience required.
  • Accurate data entry skills, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Good verbal/written skills, good interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Adept with various computer applications, including Microsoft Suite and electronic HRIS software systems
  • Proven ability to present information competently in front of audiences with ease.
  • Proven ability to coordinate events across multiple sites annually.
  • Covid-19 vaccination required.
