The Ash Group is Hiring an Aerospace Engineer Near Denver, CO

Aerospace Systems Engineer

6 month contract potential hire

up to $55/hr. W2 Only

Responsibilities:

·Responsible for the overall health of the vehicle CAD model, maintaining it free from errors and enforcing best modeling practices.

·Manage the vehicle CAD model product structure and ensure it aligns with build plans.

·Responsible for the vehicle engineering bill of materials, including ensuring the eBOM builds correctly and matches the CAD data.

·Track and address inaccuracies in the vehicle CAD model, such as missing or duplicate parts

·Audit part and assembly attributes to verify correct assignment and coordinate with teams to fill out attributes when missing or incorrect.

·Reconcile differences between the Master Equipment List and the CAD model and assist with inputting correct mass property assignment in the CAD model.

Qualifications:

·B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related subject area

·Successful candidates in this role typically have 5 years of related experience.

·Strong social skills and experience working in a highly integrated cross-functional team environment.

·Experience with CAD software (Creo Preferred)

·Experience with large assembly management in a CAD environment

·Experience with product lifecycle management tools (Windchill Preferred)

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

·Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder)

Desired (but not required):

·Experience with top-down design principles

·Experience with inventory management systems

·Experience with Configuration Management practices

·Spacecraft integration and test experience
