by collating, calculating and entering data • Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions • Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries • Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures • Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees *Requirements for the Payroll Clerk:* · Degree: High school education · Major: Business or related · Experience: at least 3 years experience as a Payroll Clerk · Computer Skills: Must have at least 2 - 3 years UKG experience as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office or related programs. · Personal: Organized, detail oriented and able to effectively resolve problems. · Ability to concentrate in routine tasks for extended periods of time while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8 am to 5pm Payrange is $22 - 26/hr.
