Provides business development leadership and direction for geographic location(s) or specific market sector(s) over a broader geographic area. Cultivates prospects and negotiates contracts for Austin Services which will generate meaningful and profitable business for the Company. Understands business negotiations and recognizes and acts upon opportunities to promote the Company’s expertise and successful past performance. Once work is awarded, keep contact with the client to ensure complete satisfaction. Some travel is required to cultivate new and ongoing business development endeavors.

Requirements
- Normally requires a 4-year degree in Engineering, Architecture or Business (or equivalent) and at least 6-10 years of diversified experience.
- In lieu of this, 10 years of experience across the industry.
- Experience across Aerospace sector is required.

- Establishes and maintains client and prospect contacts and develops sales strategy. Strengthens current business ties; coordinates meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals.
- Conducts research and surveys to determine promising areas of development. Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry.
- Works closely with the Project Executive and called upon frequently when preparing the scope of work when producing or editing Step 1 documents.
- Develops proposals for Austin services, and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion. Recommends the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.
- Negotiates and finalizes agreements with clients to ensure an equitable and profitable business relationship.
- Acts as sponsor during project execution.
