Description

• Evaluate acquisition opportunities across IP rights (sound recording, music publishing, name & likeness)
• Drive all aspects of the investment process, including historical earnings analysis, forecasting, valuation, transaction modeling, financing, due diligence
• Develop and present strategic and financial analysis to leadership team
• Support deal execution process internally and externally, including interfacing with advisors and coordinating diligence process deliverables
• Periodic review of existing deal performance
• Build deep understanding of key partners/payors
• Run ad hoc data analysis on key strategic questions that help accelerate the growth of the business
• Institutionalize industry insight & intelligence across key market segments
• Collaborate with other team members from key functions within the business to shape thinking and run analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 3 years of relevant work experience
• Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tech savvy in computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel and Word), and a quick adaptability to learn new software
• Financial modeling skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment with a self-sufficient, go-getter mindset
• Music / entertainment industry a plus
