Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a bookkeeper to join their team ASAP. You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for their company.
Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or customer service role preferred.
- Record and apply customer payments received via various methods.
- Maintain customer accounts in the accounting system, updating information as necessary.
- Follow up with customers on past due invoices to secure payment.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy of transactions.
- Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and other financial reports as required.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent
