Title: Community Assistant

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Community Assistant that will play a crucial role in preparing for the apartment turn season. Your support will be vital to their leasing and maintenance teams, ensuring residents have an exceptional living experience in our communities. This temporary, non-exempt position reports directly to the Property Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Support: Aid all customer service efforts within the community, providing outstanding service to current, future, and past residents.
• Turnover Assistance: Help with the turnover process in all units to ensure timely and efficient preparation for new residents.
• Property Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of both interior and exterior areas of the property. Proactively communicate any issues to the appropriate party. Tasks include:
  • Collecting trash around the grounds.
  • Watering flowers, plants, and shrubs.
  • Maintaining and cleaning the swimming pool.
  • Sweeping, blowing, or pressure washing breezeways, parking lots, and common areas.
• Office Duties: Assist with office responsibilities, such as greeting prospects, providing tours, and handling lease agreements or related move-in paperwork.
• Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform other duties as directed and assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently walk and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift/move loads up to 50lbs and use a ladder.
• Residency and Transportation: Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property and have reliable transportation for on-call duties.
