In-House Leasing Agent Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic In-House Leasing Agent to join our team in leasing a ground-up new rental development in South Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating leasing activities at our residential building. The role involves engaging with prospective tenants, conducting property showings, handling lease negotiations, and ensuring high occupancy rates while maintaining excellent tenant relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Leasing:
· Conduct property tours for prospective tenants.
· Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding leasing opportunities.
· Present and explain leasing terms and conditions to potential tenants.
· Assist in completing and processing lease applications and agreements.
Marketing and Outreach:
· Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
· Create and distribute marketing materials, including online listings and social media posts.
· Participate in community outreach programs to promote properties.
Administrative Duties:
· Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, including tenant applications, lease agreements, and correspondence.
· Prepare regular reports on occupancy rates, leasing activities, and market trends.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant housing laws and regulations.
Collaboration:
· Work closely with the property management team to achieve leasing goals and maintain property standards.
· Coordinate with maintenance and repair staff to address property issues promptly.
· Assist in the development and implementation of property improvement plans.
Qualifications:
Work Environment:
· This position involves frequent property tours and face-to-face interactions with tenants.
· May require evening and weekend work to accommodate prospective tenants' schedules
