Opportunity Snapshot
- Compensation: $45-55.00/hour depending on experience
- Location: Plains, Texas
- Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours
- Assignment Duration: 12 months

- Install, configure, and maintain radio and cell communication systems
- Ensure reliable and secure communication channels for field operations. Conduct regular tests and inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor communication systems to detect and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with service providers for system updates and repairs
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to support midstream operations
- Monitor network performance and optimize configurations for efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues
- Implement network security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with enterprise IT infrastructure
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for IT operations. Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects and initiatives
- Train field personnel on the proper use of communication systems and IT tools
- Develop and update user manuals and training materials
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in the industry
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network ) are a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT and communications within the oil and gas industry or a related field. Hands-on experience with radio and cell communication systems, network design and maintenance, and IT support
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting radio and cell communication systems
- Strong knowledge of network architecture and IT infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train and support end-users
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
