Job SummaryFood and Beverage Bus Attendants are responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, and ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy.
Responsibilities and Duties Include but Not Limited to the Following:

• Cleans and sanitizes tables, chairs, serving stations and other surfaces around the restaurant to ensure a sanitary and safe dining experience..
• Set dining tables according to The Betsy standards.
• Responds to customer inquiries and promptly responds to customer requests or complaints..
• Clears any dirty or unused dishes, glassware, linen or silverware from the table and carries them to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Performs serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in the restaurant, to facilitate customer service.
• Carries food, dishes, trays, or silverware from the kitchens to the serving station or the dining room as needed.
• Cleans up spilled food or drinks or broken dishes and removes empty bottles and trash.
• Serve ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to patrons.
• Maintain adequate supplies of items, such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays.
• Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas or other areas of restaurants and mop or vacuum floors.
• Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers.
• Carry linens to or from laundry areas.
• Performs additional tasks as required by management.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of prior experience in a luxury hotel or high end restaurant strongly preferred.
• Must be able to:
• Speak, read, write, and understand basic English. Spanish is desirable;
• Fulfill the Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training and certification requirements;
• Perform physically demanding tasks like standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs of weight, and work outdoors;
• Use a point of sale system;
• Follow detailed instructions;
• Convey a professional image;
• Identify and address details;
• Work well with others;
• Multi-task.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
