Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Associate to join our team. The Communications Associate will support the development and implementation of our communication strategies. This role involves creating compelling content, managing social media accounts, assisting with media relations, and contributing to various communications projects to enhance our brand visibility and engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management:
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others.
- Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance and insights.
- Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with media contacts.
- Draft and distribute press releases and media advisories.
- Coordinate media interviews and manage media inquiries.
- Support internal communications efforts to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Assist in the creation of internal newsletters, emails, and announcements.
- Assist in planning and promoting company events, webinars, and other public engagements.
- Develop event materials such as invitations, programs, and promotional content.
- Conduct research to support communication strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends and provide insights to the communications team.
- Maintain communication databases and media lists.
- Provide administrative support to the communications team as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic graphic design skills is a plus.
