We are a private golf club on the East End of Long Island.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on their needs throughout their dining experience
- Process payments and handle cash transactions using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food service industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and safety procedures
Skills:
- Excellent sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth operations

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
