Cook Duties Include
- Prepares the main meal for lunch and dinner service and follows production requirements, recipes, production and spread sheet, and posted menus.
- Plans production to coordinate taste, quality, temperature and appearance of food throughout service.
- Ensures that preparation coincides with meal service hours and batch cooks items for service on the lunch tray line
- Ensures the safe and sanitary handling of all foods prepared and stored throughout the day. Also ensures proper utilization of leftovers in cooperation with the Supervisor.
- High school diploma
- Experience in cooking/baking is required
