We are currently seeking an Aquatics Service Technician with experience working with outdoor water features and experience working in the Landscape or Construction industry, to join our Aquatics service teams. Responsibilities And DutiesThe Aquatics Service Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers through traveling to customer sites to complete spring start-ups, winterization, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of ponds and water features.

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair water features; make recommendations for customers based on their needs.
• Perform spring start-up and cleanout of various water features and ponds as scheduled.
• Locate and repair leaks in water features.
• Install and repair pumps aeration systems and fountains.
• Maintain various types of water features including selecting and adding water treatments.
• Winterize various types of water features.
• Assists with snow removal during the winter months and performs snow removal as business needs dictate.
• Ensures compliance with company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Working Conditions And Physical Requirements

• Stands and walks for long periods throughout the day.
• Squats, stoops, or kneels and lifts objects from the ground frequently.
• Full extension of arms above the head and in front of the body.
• Occasionally carries and pushes/pulls weights of up to 50 pounds.
• Fine motor skills are required for the use of small equipment and hand tools.

Schedule

• Full-time Seasonal position
• Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (40-55 hours per week) during our peak season (approximately April to November). Saturday hours as needed
• Hours vary in winter months (approximately December through March) based on snow removal

Skills You Need

• A minimum of 2-3 years of landscape construction experience, including specialized knowledge of pond and water feature installation, repair, and inspection is required.
• Previous experience working as an Aquatics Service Technician is preferred.
• Must obtain and keep current Aquatics Pesticide Applicators License.
• Previous equipment operating experience (trencher, excavator, loader, bobcat, skid steer or other used in landscape installation) is required.
