The Buckeye Ranch is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to ensure all invoices are properly approved, recorded, paid, and tracked and to provide information needed to prepare and record journal entries for the transactions. This position will support the finance department in the preparation of the annual review.
Schedule: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt (Monday – Friday, Normal Business Hours)
Location: Whitehall, Ohio (4653 E Main St.) HYBRIDWhat you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain Account Payable process.
- Reconcile and verify company invoices presented for payment, assign appropriate accounts, departments, and cost centers.
- Maintain a list of authorized approvers and ensure that the appropriate approver has authorized the invoice for payment.
- Enter invoices in Business Central for payment on the designated due date. Make timely invoice payments, gain approvals where necessary, and identify and report inaccuracies and/or variances.
- Prepare and post all journal entries, ensure that they are posted to the correct month and proper coding has been applied.
- Work with External Vendors to resolve invoice problems.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of invoice payment and reporting.
- Assist with audit and other financial reporting needs.
- Completes various schedules, reports, and projects at the direction of the CFO, Controller, Assistant Controller, and AP Supervisor
- You have a high school diploma; associates degree preferred.
- You have at least one year of relevant experience.
- You have proven computer skills in Microsoft.
- You have an active driver's license.
