The Buncher Company is a Pittsburgh, PA construction and real estate company with work sites throughout the surrounding area. We are looking for a motivated Laborer to join our team!
Responsibilities
•Perform physical labor at construction projects related to new construction, demolition, and renovation
•Assist with forming and filling foundations
•Demolition work
•Preparing and installing door frames
•General cleaning of work sites
•Loading and unloading
•Assist other workers such as Electricians, Carpenters, Operators, and Superintendents
•Dispose of any debris, trash, or hazardous materials that are found on the site to prepare it construction starts
•Clean up any tools, trash, and building materials once construction is complete to ensure a clean worksite
•Help your team with all stages of the build to make sure that the job is done as efficiently as possible
•Load, unload and prepare any tools or materials on site that will be used to complete the build, so the crew can operate efficiently
•Make sure to follow all health and safety regulations to ensure you and your crew members don't suffer any injuries
Qualifications
•One year of labor experience related to construction is required
•Driver's license and ability to travel between work sites is required
•Must have the ability to carry out basic verbal and written correspondence, instructions, rules, policies
•Must be able to perform basic arithmetic in order to complete job tasks
•Must be able to use measuring devices such as tapes and gauges
•A high school diploma or GED is preferred
•Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools highly preferred
•Knowledge of basic engineering and construction laborer methods is preferred, but we will provide training
•Our crew members must be physically able to do the work with reliable hand-eye coordination and balance
•Must be able to take direction, work well independently and as part of a team for efficiency and productivity
