The Bushnell is Hiring a Senior Coordinator, Education & Community Engagement Near Hartford, CT
Broad FunctionProvide project coordination and support for onsite and offsite education department programming. Duties And Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage both on and off-site school-based services for CREC (Capitol Region Education Council) schools, Charter schools, and Hartford Public and other school districts.
Coordinate and assist department with specific school-based services projects including letters of agreement, invoice processing, and other related administrative duties as assigned.
Maintain regular and timely processing of letters of agreement, invoices, and other similar duties for the Education department at large.
Maintain accurate storage and electronic filing of departmental documentation as assigned.
Coordinate and assist department staff with new talent development and educationally based initiatives.
Organize, coordinate, and implement community/other programming and events both on and offsite, as needed.
Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting room requests, and other hospitality requirements, as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education And/or Experience
College degree preferred, and knowledge of how a mission based non-profit organization functions.
Experience in performing arts, entertainment, education, and or community-based programming.
Exceptional knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word, Knowledge of Publisher, or graphic design a plus.
Bilingual with Spanish speaking skills is a plus, but not required.
Reliable transportation is required for this position. Some local travel to offsite locations will be required.
