The Calyx Institute is Hiring a Senior Operations Coordinator Near Brooklyn, NY
The Calyx Institute is seeking applications for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Senior Operations Coordinator. The Senior Operations Coordinator will be primarily responsible for supporting the Operations department, undertaking the administrative tasks necessary to foster continued growth of the organization. This role involves responsibilities in human resources, office management, finance, event logistics, and grants administration. The Senior Operations Coordinator will report to the Operations Director, and regularly coordinate with other team members and programs across Calyx. Ideal candidates will have experience with nonprofit administration, special events and/or conferences, financial operations, and/or human resources. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Assisting the Operations Director with various tasks related to human resources, grants management, and day-to-day administration of the Calyx Institute;
Coordinating organizational meetings, travel, and logistics related to conference participation;
Assisting with the hiring and onboarding of new staff, contractors, and volunteers.
Prepare and file forms and other documents, ensuring organized document management systems and processes;
Organized management of the New York office, including maintaining supplies, inventories, and ad hoc support as needed;
Supporting Calyx's grantmaking program via correspondence with grantees and coordinating compliance requirements;
Planning and organizing staff trainings and employee engagement activities;
Collaborating with the finance, design, membership and engineering departments on projects as needed; and
In collaboration with Operations Director, maintaining effective and efficient organizational policies and procedures to promote a strong and positive working culture at Calyx.

Details & To ApplyThis is a full-time, salaried, exempt, hybrid position located in New York and requiring partial in-person work at Calyx's office in Brooklyn, NY. The salary range is $70,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
