Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for financial statement preparations and consolidation.
  • Responsible for full cycle accounting entries, including Revenue, Payroll, Cash, and accruals
  • Analyze Financial Statements for discrepancies and alert Controller if necessary
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Leads year end financial audit, including review of work papers and reconciliations
  • Reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
  • Coordinates with NetSuite vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
  • Provides guidance or training to accounts payable clerks and staff accountant
  • Provides recommendations of process improvements to mitigate audit risk and create efficiencies
  • Review and follow-up on expense items that are outside of budget or appear unusual.
  • Assist Controller in preparation of annual reports, including 1099's, Personal Property Statements, Sales and use tax Reporting and others as required.
  • Participate in Month End close meetings with Clinical Operation Leaders to interpret financial results
  • Collaboration across multiple departments to improve financial reporting
  • Assists controller and Vice President of Finance in Budget Preparation
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting Required, or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years with progressively responsible experience required.
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Efficient in Financial Accounting and Cash Accounting
  • Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Experience with external audit processes
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
