- Responsible for financial statement preparations and consolidation.
- Responsible for full cycle accounting entries, including Revenue, Payroll, Cash, and accruals
- Analyze Financial Statements for discrepancies and alert Controller if necessary
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Leads year end financial audit, including review of work papers and reconciliations
- Reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Coordinates with NetSuite vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
- Provides guidance or training to accounts payable clerks and staff accountant
- Provides recommendations of process improvements to mitigate audit risk and create efficiencies
- Review and follow-up on expense items that are outside of budget or appear unusual.
- Assist Controller in preparation of annual reports, including 1099's, Personal Property Statements, Sales and use tax Reporting and others as required.
- Participate in Month End close meetings with Clinical Operation Leaders to interpret financial results
- Collaboration across multiple departments to improve financial reporting
- Assists controller and Vice President of Finance in Budget Preparation
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting Required, or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years with progressively responsible experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Efficient in Financial Accounting and Cash Accounting
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Experience with external audit processes
- Experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
