We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to spearhead an exciting technology transformation initiative. In this pivotal role, you will lead the successful implementation of the Personal Computer Upgrade Project, ushering in a seamless transition to Microsoft Windows 11 across our client's organization.
A deep understanding of Windows-based Personal Computing Platforms is needed for this role.
* Start Date: 07/01/2024
* Duration: 5 months, through the end of the year
* Location: On-site in Kennesaw, GA, hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 onsite days per week.
* Pay Rate Range: The expected compensation starts at $55/hour, with some flexibility to go higher - DOE. The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
Qualifications
* To excel in this role, you should possess a proven track record of successfully managing complex technology projects,
* Must be highly detail oriented with outstanding, clear, written and verbal communication and strong coordination skills
* Deep understanding of Windows-based Personal Computing Platforms.
* 5 - 7 years of experience as an IT Project Manager with the proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and deliver projects within tight timelines will be instrumental to your success.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the project from ideation to operational transition, ensuring quality, scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
* Construct comprehensive project plans that account for resources, constraints, vendor partners, external dependencies, and potential risks.
* Facilitate continuous progress monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
* Foster open and transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
* Leverage your deep expertise in Windows-based Personal Computing Platforms to drive project success.
* Collaborate with IT teams, system administrators, and relevant personnel to execute the Windows 11 and PC upgrade seamlessly.
* Manage project documentation, including status reports, change requests, and communication plans.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to align requirements and schedules.
* Develop clear and compelling communication materials, such as project plans, implementation plans, and change documentation.
* Work closely with technology teams to identify issues and risks, developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
* Oversee project finances, ensuring alignment with committed budgets.
* Ensure requirements are clearly articulated, documented, and communicated to all project stakeholders.
* Deliver projects supporting Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity initiatives.
