The Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a part-time Data Entry Assistant. Our mission at CFPA is to help all people live free from violence and abuse, and our Data Entry Assistant is essential in bringing that mission to life.

The Data Entry Assistant performs data entry tasks related to CFPA’s residential services. The Data Entry Assistant logs data (intakes, service hours, program activity, etc.), maintains client files, completes filing on daily basis, ensures accurate data and timely documentation for agency and funding source reports and maintains confidentiality of agency information. The Data Entry Assistant also provides inventory of agency documentation by copying, editing, creating and updating programmatic paper work as needed.

The Data Entry Assistant must demonstrate behaviors reflecting CFPA’s Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles and Code of Ethics including working cooperatively with other staff and volunteers in a team approach.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be passionate about CFPA’s mission, work well independently and as a team, demonstrate non-abusive behavior in both public and professional life, and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Our mission is to help all people - women, men, and children - to live free from violence and abuse. The Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) is the only agency in the state of Illinois to provide combined, comprehensive free and confidential services to women, men and children, of all ages, who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, human trafficking, or elder abuse.
