Responsibilities:

- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Utilize medical coding systems such as DRG, ICD-9, and ICD-10 accurately
- Maintain patient billing records and collection reports
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim denials or discrepancies
- Handle patient inquiries related to billing issues

Experience:

- Knowledge of medical office procedures and practices
- Familiarity with medical collection processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
