We are hiring a Warehouse Assistant in Miami! In this role you will assist in the warehouse and run the forklift. Someone successful in this role will have prior warehouse experience, preferably in the food industry or perishables. This role does require you to be OSHA forklift certified and bilingual English/ Spanish.
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for fulfilling the logistics requirements in receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to customer’s orders and established storing procedures. Also, to ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention. Position responsibilities are not limited to the following list:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage tasks and activities effectively to ensure timely completion of orders and meet deadlines consistently.
• Process customer’s orders by picking, palletizing, labelling, and shipping orders accurately.
• Receive, unload and place inventory items accordingly.
• Work closely with the packing and re-packing team.
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
• Assist in training new warehouse associates when needed.
• Assist the Quality control team in inspecting products for defects and damage.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain equipment in working condition and report malfunctions.
• Organize warehouse space.
• Comply with established procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve efficient workflow, resolve issues, and meet daily targets.
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/ Spanish required.
• OSHA Forklift cert required.
• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
• Independent and agile. Fast learner and display integrity.
• Experience in inventory count.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work in a cold environment.
• Flexibility to work in various shifts, including weekends and overtime if needed.

Salary: The pay for this role is $15-$20 DOE.
