The Chateau Girardeau is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Clerk to join our team.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

· Provide non-clinical clerical assistance to nursing staff; including but not limited to: faxing documents, gathering paperwork, scheduling appointments, etc.

· Greet and direct all residents, visitors, and staff in a positive, caring, and professional manner

· Receive and direct all calls and deliver messages to the appropriate staff

· Place calls and follow-up as needed as directed by nursing staff

This is a part-time position that will work 20-25 hours per week.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 1-3 years related clerical experience; preferably in a healthcare setting

· Excellent computer skills

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
