Chef’s Garden Catering & Events is actively seeking a Part Time Payroll Administrator.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should possess basic accounting knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks, with a mandatory requirement of experience with ADP Workforce Now. This role involves managing multiple software systems. Responsibilities include bookkeeping functions such as Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Human Resources (H/R), and payroll, as well as providing clerical and audit support, and other tasks to assist the Accounting Manager.

The successful candidate should excel in multitasking efficiently and be accustomed to managing frequent interruptions. We are seeking a detail-oriented, efficient, and reliable individual. Data entry experience and self-motivation are essential traits for this role.

Data Entry

  • Key in Sales Receipts in QuickBooks Online
  • Key in Invoices accurately in QuickBooks Online

Payroll

ADP Onboarding and I-9 Reporting:

  • Conduct electronic ADP onboarding for new employees
  • Manage electronic I-9 reporting processes in compliance with regulations.

Payroll Processing:

  • Run bi-weekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now for 75-100 employees, covering payroll direct deposits, check distribution.
  • Calculate Sales team commission structures and bonus programs accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll taxes and governmental regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Prepare, and submit bi-weekly worker compensation reports, remitting payments as required.
  • Setting up benefits deductions in ADP accurately.
  • Apply PTO Benefits in ADP
  • Manage PTO Calendar Blocks & Availability in ADP

401K Enrollment and Management:

  • Facilitate the enrollment and management of employee 401K accounts.
  • Administer 401K funding biweekly.

The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience working in an office professional office setting and will possess the following qualities:

  • Reliability and discretion
  • Adaptability
  • Education in human resources, accounting, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in office software solutions and technology (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
