Job Details
DescriptionBroadcast Operations – Virginia Beach, VAThe Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Studio Technician to work in our studios under supervision to operate television cameras and perform various studio functions.
This opportunity is an on-call position offering flexible hours on an as-needed basis without guaranteed weekly hours.The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
  • Working knowledge and capability of operating a camera
  • Knowledge of television production and workflow
  • Ability to carry video and lighting equipment, and consistently lift 40 lbs or more
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from a scissor lift at extended heights
  • Good hand-eye coordination, ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Good visual and creative skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team, working collaboratively with various show producers
  • Ability to work different shifts, extended hours, and meet unexpected work demands
  • Comfortable working with lighting and related studio equipment a plus
  • Previous experience as a Lighting Technician a plus
