JWe are recruiting a Operations Workforce Manager on behalf of our client, Christian Outreach Center of Baton Rouge (COC), a local Christian non-profit organization that provides employment support to those experiencing poverty or homelessness. The mission of the COC is “self-sufficiency and restored dignity through employment”.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between clients and potential employment opportunities.
• Identify and source new job opportunities for our clients.
• Analyze clients’ classwork and interests to find the best job matches.
• Attend coalition meetings and network to secure external resources for our clients.
• Strive to create a diverse set of industry job opportunities for our clients.
• Lead the team in delivering our Essential Services and Case Management.
• Maintain a focus on operational excellence and exceptional client care within the team.
• Report program and service statuses to the Executive Director.
• Collaborate with case managers to help clients overcome barriers to employment.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness is preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals and families at the poverty level
• Proficient in networking and building community relationships.
• Experience with the formerly incarcerated is advantageous.
• Strong technology skills; frequent use of our database platform required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to inspire others to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, partners, and the community.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience in operations management, preferably in a non-profit setting.

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
