Contributes to the Sales job family in a support capacity. Responsible for selling activities related to inbound/outbound calls about healthcare related products. Receives calls from prospective members, may enroll recipients telephonically, completes required documents in a timely manner, and schedules lead appointments. Develops sales opportunities with eligible individuals by means of personal referrals and business partner referrals, as well as from leads generated through direct mail or TV advertising. Maintains sales programs within assigned territory. Qualifies prospects and attempts to close sale. Conducts majority of selling activities over the phone, internet and/or computer. Communicates information accurately and timely to customers. Attends all planned sales meetings and department meetings. Completes output (documents, analyses, product) in specific work area to appropriate time and quality targets. Works under own initiative, prioritizes own work, and meets agreed timescales. Work is subject to frequent review by more experienced professionals in Direct Sales. This role is eligible for sales incentive compensation (IC). In USA, this role may be used for development purposes, in International Markets, this role may not be a Trainee and relative account size differs by market.
