The Cigna Group is Hiring a Vice President of Care Solutions Near Nashville, TN

The Vice President of Care Solutions is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership of the Care Solutions product organization focused on developing and managing clinical pharmacy, medical, and member navigation solutions that deliver better health, value, experiences, and equity to members resulting in better outcomes for Evernorth clients.
Responsibilities
  • This role is responsible for managing and growing over $250M in service revenue and $1B in client savings.
  • Accountable for effective and successful Care Solutions product sales support, Medical Drug Management (Care Continuum) account management, and population health management.
  • Accountable for strategic oversight, management, and performance of unique clinical programs for Express Scripts’ client coalitions including, but not limited to Total Performance Management, a risk-based solution for national employers’ accounting for over 500K lives.
  • Strong ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships, within Evernorth and with its partners, which result in solutions, services, and capabilities that increase pharmacy and medical value for clients and members.
  • Accepts accountability for individual product performance with an ability to adjust and meet or exceed Care Solutions clinical and financial goals.
  • Understands the landscape of health vendor partners and effectively negotiates best value, terms, and conditions with select partners resulting in faster speed to market and effective results while mitigating risk to Evernorth.
  • Provides strategic direction and leadership of the Care Solutions product organization focused on developing and managing clinical pharmacy, medical, and member navigation solutions that deliver better health, value, experiences, and equity to members, resulting in better outcomes for Evernorth clients.
  • Develop relationships with Evernorth clients that enable an outside-in approach to development and management of solutions.
  • Collaborates with Technology and Operations on efficient solution design, development and adoption that aligns to client and member needs.
  • Collaborates with Sales and Account Management to ensure alignment on the Care Solutions product roadmap.
  • Responsible for Evernorth Care Solutions roadmap of products, capabilities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Creates a positive culture that attracts, retains, and grows talent; willingness to lend talent to support initiatives across Evernorth as stretch opportunities.
  • Represent Care Solutions in client-facing interactions including, but not limited to, client finalist meetings, advisory board forums, Evernorth client and consultant conferences, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
Experience
  • At least 10 years of significant business/product development and management experience.
  • Charismatic leader able to inspire the Care Solutions product team to set and hit stretch performance and development goals.
  • Embraces ambiguity and uses creativity to solve problems.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare and PBM industry preferred.
  • History of developing new and innovative solutions that result in better health and value.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and articulate a big picture strategy and why it matters to the organization.
  • Strong executive presence and an ability to influence Senior level leadership within and outside of the organization.
  • Drives alignment across multiple levels and teams within a matrixed organization through relationship building, trust and collaboration.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Has an Enterprise mindset and is not territorial when making decisions and/or allocating resources to solve complex problems.
