Under the supervision and direction of the Payroll and Benefits Manager, the Employee Benefits Coordinator is responsible to perform a variety of duties related to the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, eligibility, billing and record-keeping functions for self-funded health/medical, dental and life insurance, voluntary benefits, FSA’s, sheltered annuities and deferred compensation for approximately 1,250 employees and 900 City retirees. Additional responsibilities include support of tasks related to bi-weekly payroll processing and annual open enrollment.
