Description
We are looking for a part-time Building Maintenance Assistant within the Building Maintenance Department. Performs skilled and technical tasks in the maintenance department, repair, and operation of city buildings and recreation facilities. Work involves general repair, painting, and cleaning. The position is often physically demanding and may require work in difficult weather conditions.
Maintenance Assistant works under the general supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent/Supervisor and may involve various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Salary
$14.74 – $21.78 per hour
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electric, plumbing, construction, carpentry, and HVAC is a plus.
- Must be of good moral character with no disqualifying criminal history.
- High School diploma or GED and/or any equivalent of four years of experience and training.
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check is required. All candidates must be willing to submit to random drug screenings.
- Possess a valid Ohio state driver’s license.
