The Claiborne is Hiring a Regional Director of Sales Near Marietta, GA

Claiborne Senior Living is looking for a Regional Director of Sales for our managed communities in the Atlanta, GA area. In this role, you will oversee the revenue and occupancy growth for assigned communities. Core responsibilities for the regional director of sales are to ensure sales and occupancy growth goals are met within assigned communities. The position is responsible for the implementation and results for our organization's sales programs within the assigned territory while maintaining a unified 'Claiborne Way' of communication and collaboration throughout the organization.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Assists communities and their sales teams to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Recruit, hire, evaluate, coordinate, motivate and monitor performance of new and established community relations directors (CRD).
  • Provides accurate forecasting to executive leadership, review daily changes and report such changes to executive leadership routinely and as needed.
  • Effectively coach, mentor and train Claiborne leaders with a focus on relationship-based selling strategies (to include inquiry follow-up, advancement of sales and handling objections). Provides direction and feedback relative to all cycles of the selling process including tour preparations and follow up expectations.
  • Outline and facilitate strategy meetings to discuss sales trends and projections with Regional Operations and Community leadership.
  • Ensuring curb appeal, community appearance and sales standards are met via formal site visits, communication of the findings and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Review, analyze and perform all community sales and marketing activities (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly) including but not limited to public relations efforts, prospective resident generation, tours, prospective resident follow-up and any other aspects required to ensure maximum results to achieve occupancy goals of the communities.
  • Identify overall trends, obstacles, and solutions in the marketplace in a proactive manner.
  • Ensure that the community relations directors maintain current and accurate data in the CRM tool.
  • Provide the executive directors insight and direction for CRD performance management and evaluations.
  • Ensure completion of regular competitive market analysis and quarterly sales and marketing plans.

Qualifications Include: 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years multi-site Senior Living sales experience with a record of consistently meeting or exceeding sale performance goals
  • Successful experience in marketing/selling/closing sales of assisted living, housing community-based care, health care, etc.
  • Previous experience within the healthcare industry is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Possessing a driver's license, insurance and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to speak intelligently about our services, relate to the public, residents, families, staff and other professionals effectively
  • Strong coaching background with ability to teach/train effectively
