Salary:

The Classic Center Cultural Foundation is seeking a Development Manager to lead our fundraising and membership efforts. This role will support the Director of the Cultural Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing net retained earnings through membership growth, grant acquisition, capital campaigns, sponsorships, and planned giving. They will work closely with the sponsorship team to ensure seamless activations and collaborate with the Oak View Group (OVG) Director of Partnerships to develop sales strategies. The Development Manager will also oversee the Cultural Foundation's endowment funds, donor designated funds, direct giving programs, and planned giving initiatives. They will assist with major capital campaigns, develop and execute brand marketing campaigns, and participate in community networking events to build relationships and foster membership and sponsorship conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve membership goals through strategic research, lead generation, and relationship building.
  • Develop and implement a referral system, member events, and an annual retention plan.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all membership needs.
  • Maximize fundraising opportunities at all Cultural Foundation events.
  • Collaborate with the OVG Director of Partnerships on sales strategies.
  • Lead the Cultural Foundation’s endowment and planned giving programs.
  • Assist with major capital campaigns and donor relationship management.
  • Develop and execute brand marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in community networking events.
  • Assist with planning and hosting Cultural Foundation events and trips.
  • Maintain internal invoicing procedures and track and reconcile all sponsorship agreements, membership, and capital campaign proceeds.
  • Stay proficient in customer relationship management and ticketing systems.
  • Lead grant writing efforts.
  • Uphold the values and culture of The Classic Center Authority.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with customer relationship management software.
  • A four-year college degree is required.
  • Demonstrated competence in accounting practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly effective communication skills with all levels of the organization and patrons.
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in sales or customer service.

The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
