IT Support Analyst

OVERVIEW:

Join our dynamic team as an IT Support Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in installing, configuring, and supporting a diverse range of software, hardware, and networking equipment critical to achieving the Bank's business objectives. In this fast-paced environment, you will engage in project management, training, documentation development, support ticket troubleshooting and resolution, and network and security malignance, ensuring seamless IT experience for internal users and business units and bank customers. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with current IT personnel on various levels.
  • Aid in installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting all computer hardware and software bank wide.
  • Assisting in network administration tasks like configuring routers and switches.
  • Assist in fulfilling all incoming service requests.
  • Learn, maintain, and enhance performance of new and existing software applications across the organization. Prioritize, schedule, and administer installations, patches, and upgrades to software applications.
  • Provide support for the testing of new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase.
  • Resolve application and software issues within servers, databases, and client systems. Communicate with users and schedule corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with department heads to assess departmental application training needs and objectives.
  • Help with staff moves and software installations.
  • Assist with Information Security, Disaster Recovery, and Vendor Management processes.
  • Conducting research on IT best practices and presenting recommendations to the IT team.
  • Suggest improvements to improve the efficiency throughout the IT Department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Ability to work well independently and with a team to accomplish critical tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in the field of information systems and/or 2-4 years equivalent work experience.
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications, the Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, and Office365 tenants.
  • Familiarity with IP networking in LAN and WAN environments.
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into software as well as technical application issues and present ideas to users in audience appropriate language.
  • Self-motivated and directed, good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Very strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Certifications in networking or cybersecurity are preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
  • Lifting and transporting of 40 lb objects, such as computers and peripherals
  • Must be capable of operating all types of office equipment.

EQUIPMENT USED

Computers, iOS devices, ATMs, VOIP phones, fax machine, scanners, copiers, printer, servers, switches and routers, wireless access points.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Occasional travel between locations required.
  • Occasional travel for training required.
  • May require travel to other offices to provide assistance or attend meetings. Also, travel for seminars and training.
