Organization: San Bernardino County Title: Geographic Information Systems Technician I Location: San Bernardino, CA Posted: 2024-06-25 Application Deadline: 2024-07-19 Position Description : San Bernardino County is recruiting for a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technician I who will utilize the Esri GIS platform to create and maintain a wide variety of maps, data and geospatial information products. The incumbent will assist in developing customer map and/or geospatial data product requirements, use Esri’s ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro map production tools to compose and generate a wide variety of geospatial products. Performs quality control on encoded data, reviews output for accuracy and performs quality checks on GIS products. A vacancy currently exists in the Innovation and Technology Department.
