The Club at Ravenna is Hiring a Line Cook Near Littleton, CO

Reports To: Executive Chef, Sous Chef

Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Line Cook job position is responsible for the following:

Food preparation duties:

  • Responsible for preparing/cooking food items per menu or prep list for your assigned station.
  • Confirm your assigned station is properly prepared and stocked for anticipated levels of business.
  • Stations may include: Grill, Sauté, Pantry, Pizza, Prep, Banquets and Expedite.
  • Duties may include: sautéing, grilling, roasting, baking, garde manger and plating.

Work safety responsibilities:

  • Understands through prior knowledge or in-house training how to use all equipment in kitchen.
  • Wearing of cut protection glove/gloves is mandatory when using or cleaning the slicer.
  • Be aware of and report any conditions that you feel may affect member or staff safety.
  • Report any unsafe condition to your supervisor immediately.
  • Any injury must be reported to your supervisor for proper follow up

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in professional kitchen
  • Be punctual. Be professional.
  • Work efficiently while under pressure.
  • Must display advanced knife skills
  • Must possess culinary versatility. Must be able to work different stations.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic.
  • Must have effective communication skills.
  • Must maintain good personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Must keep your uniform in clean condition.
  • Lead by example, take pride in what you do and how you do it.
  • Share your knowledge with others.
  • Be helpful to all staff members regardless of their department.
  • Strive to provide a positive member experience - this is critical to our success as a club.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • This position is an hourly, full-time position that will be paid $19 - $21 (DOE), per hour bi-weekly.
  • Accrued PTO after 90 days
  • The company provides all employees Paid Sick Leave, which is accrued on hours worked.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance offered after 60 days
  • 401(k) plan - administered by John Hancock
  • Faculty benefits include access to the golf course on employee play days.
